I just have to take a little time out to point, laugh, and feel good over how bad the Dallas Cowboys really are. I’ve said for some time now that the Cowboys are the single most overrated team in the NFL, and today they went a little ways further in proving me right. On a day when Jerry “I love a circus” Jones unveils the 3D feature on his huge-ass “Everyone look at what I can afford” screen, the Cowboys had their asses handed to them by the Chargers. The highlights of this game for me came first when, after an impressive first possession that saw the Cowboys over come a 2nd and 22 situation, the Chargers hold them to a field goal which ends with the Cowboys celebrating profusely over their moral victory. After the kick off, these same Cowboys force the Chargers into 3 and 12 situation and again the celebrate on what they think will become a 3 and out, but low and behold Rivers wonderful 24 yard pass to the sidelines and Floyd’s great toe tap catch to put them in Cowboys territory, and so the struggles begin for the boys. A game that saw another great drive from the boys in which they ran the ball on practically every down until they had a 1st and goal look from about the 2 yard line and they can’t run it another yard and are forced to give it up on downs for no score. Not to mention the missed 42 yard field goal which is really important in a 3 point loss. lol All in all it was a very satisfying experience for a Cowboy hater such as myself to see the boy’s December struggles continuing. My money in on them not winning another game this year! Why you ask? Because they simply are not a good enough team to compete against play off contenders and the end of their season is full of play off caliber teams. Except Washington of course who will win simply because they tend to play tough in division games. lol
