Minnesota Freshman defensive end Matt Garin turned down offers from UCLA, West Virginia, Arizona State and Colorado to play in his home state. At 6-4 and 220 lb. the Apple Valley native wanted to play in front of his family.
Garin’s one of those ‘motors always running’ kind of guys who shows a lot of heart and a good football intellect. Insiders say he needs to bulk up more but I think he’s got a really nice frame already. Garin plays Lacrosse, loves chicken fingers, looks hot in his backwards cap and watches Grey’s Anatomy each week with his girlfriend.
Coming out of high school Matt was ranked as the No. 6 senior in the State of Minnesota by Rivals.com and the No. 21 defensive end in the nation by Rivals.

Blond, built and beautiful! Love the upper mid-west it is filled with big, hot, blond, Scandinavian types. He reminds me of fellow Minn football hottie John Carlson who pkayed at Notre Dame and is now with the Seahawks.
